You can delete your KataPrep account and all of its data at any time. The fastest way is inside the app; if you don't have the app installed, you can request deletion below.
Open KataPrep and go to Settings → Delete account. You'll be asked to type DELETE to confirm.
This works whether you're anonymous (a guest) or linked with Apple or Google.
Deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no undo.
We keep no copy of this data after deletion.
On iPhone, you can also remove KataPrep's Sign in with Apple connection yourself at any time: Settings → your name → Sign in with Apple → KataPrep → Stop Using Apple ID.
Email privacy@kataprep.com with the subject “Delete my account”. Tell us whether you signed in with Apple or Google and the email address associated with it. We'll delete your synced data and your account, revoke the Apple sign-in where applicable, and email you to confirm when it's done.
If you never signed in with Apple or Google, your data was tied to a random identifier on your device, with no name or email attached — so there is nothing we can look up to find it remotely. To delete it, the simplest route is to reinstall the app and use Settings → Delete account, which wipes everything. Uninstalling the app also removes the on-device copy; the anonymous synced record holds no personal details and is not linked to you.
The same as the in-app deletion above: your synced study data (the cloud document), your KataPrep account identifier, and — for Apple-linked accounts — your Sign in with Apple connection. We keep no copy of this data.
We action deletion requests within 30 days of receiving them, and usually much sooner. Once a request is processed, deletion is immediate and permanent.
